The dovetail joints of the top drawer are re-glued. There was hardly any sign of previous glue in the joints!

Amy’s Trunk

Replacement tin front corners have been fabricated, but they are “bright and shiny”. Patina will have to be added to the galvanized steel tin. Will try gun blue for darkening. Photo shows the old and new corner pieces.

Wooden shims were placed under the two broken pieces of wood for stability. Then the broken pieces were glued to the original boards.
