About Travis, owner
Travis Beard is a graduate of the National Institute of Wood Finishing at Dakota County Technical College in Rosemount, Minnesota. In addition to being a hobbyist woodworker for many years, he has extensive knowledge and experience in the restoration of antiques, treasured family heirlooms, and damaged everyday furniture. Travis is an International Member of the Professional Refinishers Group and the National Institute for Wood Finishing. Prior to his furniture restoration career, he was a U.S. Navy pilot and a board certified Health Physicist in the nuclear power industry.
